Since Trump Presidency 2.0 commenced on January 20th, 2025, we have witnessed a blatant disregard for the innate rights of humans and weaponization of social programs such as healthcare, social security, DEI initiatives, and xenophobia to further the authoritarian agenda of the US government. It is imperative that we, the working class, exercise our rights and unite our neighborhoods to organize in anticipation of door-to-door ICE operations as in Minnesota. These acts of violence endanger both our neighbors and our communities.
In response to the shooting of Alex Pretti, a former White House official stated:
“The reality is, you can’t stop what you’re doing…This is the whole point of ICE existing in these cities, and Minnesota is not going to be the last state that ICE goes to. Oregon was next. We were not done. We need to keep going.”
