Tammy Carpenter

Oregon State House of Representatives District 27

Tammy is a current Beaverton School Board member. She has used her office as a model. She’s empowered parents and teachers to speak up about school closures. She used her platform to talk about the genocide in Gaza. She’s worked to elevate the struggles of workers fighting for a fair contract and she’s active in her community response to ICE. Also importantly she’s used the opportunity to encourage people to get organized regularly telling people to join organizations like the Democratic Socialists of America.
